Gillian is an approved clinical supervisor (ACS) with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors, and has been providing supervision to counsellors and practicum students since 2018. Gillian held various leadership roles during her time at Cameray Child and Family Services, whereby she provided supervision to a team of counsellors. The majority of her supervisory experience has been focused on counselling for children, youth and parents. Gillian has a wealth of knowledge and experience in play therapy, CBT, DBT, child development, parenting support and attachment theory. She embodies a collaborative approach to clinical supervision, and strives to provide a safe, compassionate, and encouraging environment for clinicians to learn and grow.

Gillian is not currently taking on practicum students for the 2024-2025 term, however, she is able to provide supplementary clinical supervision. Gillian has been approved as a primary and secondary supervisor at many universities in B.C., and has supported many students in successfully completing clinical practicums at a master’s level.
