Parent support has been central to my practice since I began working with children and youth. When we look at issues from a family systems perspective, it makes sense that children alone cannot facilitate change in their lives unless the entire system shifts to support these changes. That’s why I encourage all parents and caregivers to participate in parenting support while their child engages in therapy.

My work with parents typically begins by taking a deeper look at the parent-child relationship, identifying how I can support you in strengthening the attachment bond. Whether you are repairing a rupture or seeking ways to reconnect with your child, I can support you in finding that connection.

Many parents seeking support are looking for solutions to specific challenges, whether that be emotional dysregulation, hitting/biting, sibling rivalry, school refusal, and the list goes on! Through parent support sessions, we can find collaborative solutions that everyone can get on board with. You’ll leave these sessions with individualized strategies to ensure your child’s needs are met while creating a home environment that feels harmonious and nurturing.
